| THE MAN & THE GOAL THAT MADE IT HAPPEN It's so good we never gave them any chance. Thank God we didn't jinx them with our supports. This is one of the best times to be a Nigerian. The boys went, saw and they conquered against all odds. |
We sincerely congratulate them from the bottom of our hearts. At least for the next few days, the whole Nation's attention would be shifted to the discussions on our win. A respite sort of for many of our politicians.
Most especially we congratulate our beloved captain- Joseph Yobo. This is a good crowning glory after all these years. The longest serving player in Nigeria's history lifted the cup after a hard fought victory over the very resilient Burkinabes.
Congratulations again boys!!!It took 19 good years for us to win our 3rd Nations Cup and it is well worth it.
Now let's plan ahead for the World Cup in Brazil. You just don't know? Anything can happen, impossible is nothing!
