Former Most Beautiful Girl in the World, by that we mean ex-Miss World, Agbani Darego is the new cover star for TW Magazine. The 51st ever Miss World, who later became a model and is now an entrepreneur still looks spanking gorgeous anyday, Which just goes on to say the natural beauties, would remain constant and consistent any day.

We love that she has matured into a very graceful lady, who is still outstandingly beautiful. Agbani would still beat many of the recent queens to the crown, if a contest was set up for tomorrow. She was just 18 years old going 19 when she was crowned to rule the world in 2001, and now 12 years after at 30 years old, she must have had a rollercoaster 12 years. TW Magazine’s cover girl for the month of May is none other than Agbani Darego, who at the impressionable young age of 18 was thrust from obscurity unto the world stage, when she made history in 2001 by becoming the first black African woman to be crowned Miss World.

In a pose that shows a woman who is youthful, exuberant and stunningly beautiful, Agbani Darego is still “Sitting On Top Of The World” 12 years after receiving her gilded crown. She has made a conscious effort to live her life away from the public eye, but in this revealing interview she opens up like never before, sharing details about her journey from the pageant world to the modeling circuit her current evolution into a fashion entrepreneur with the launch of her eponymous denim line.
