iGROOVE RADIO'S GROOVY LAUNCH AT THE FREEDOM PARK

ADAEZE & TINTIN

FAMOUS DESIGNER CLEMENT MUDI ENAJEMO
Last week Saturday, June 7, 2014 at the very beautiful Freedom Park, off Broad Street, Lagos, was the official launch of one of the grooviest web radio station (entertainment platforms) in Nigeria. In fact to put it correctly, iGroove Radio is probably the first online real time radio station of its kind in Nigeria. And it is as groovy as the name sounds, they ain't playing.

Friends and fans of the brand in large numbers were invited to be a part of the fun that we have tagged the official launch party. Firstly, we didn't know that Freedom Park was such a groovy place like we saw it on the day. And after vising for the first time, we plan to be regular visitors to the place for as long as the place is kept clean & groovy like we saw it last Saturday. Those who converted the historical prison yard to an event center/relaxation joint etc but while still retaining a bit of the history of the place, must be well commended for a job well done.

Away from the talk about the venue, back to iGroove radio official launch. The launch party was the opportunity for some of the talented, but not too well known artistes/entertainers needed to showcase their skills/talent etc. To put it very simply, we had fun in the most unobstrusive manner, every one mixed without unnecessary airs and had great fun, watching and listening, it was a good time well spent at the occasion and we got a few exciting pictures for your viewing pleasure.

Before we forget, iGroove Radio is the brainchild of one of Nigeria's most creative radio personality in the person of Augustine 'tintin' Imevbore, who some few years ago, was the Programmes Director at Classic FM.
